(at that moment)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;To ask someone "let go" only is not enough.&lt;br /&gt;imagine this:&lt;br /&gt;He is holding a gold in his hand, now you ask him to let go...&lt;br /&gt;will he?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;but what if, you say this "let go" the gold, I will give you another "gold"....&lt;br /&gt;he might exchange with you. He might.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, the key to healing is to tell him - Someone will come and love you very soon.&lt;br /&gt;Give him love. In fact, I know I will succeed step-by-step with the guidance from T Harv and Blair Singer and their team.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I show my confident by renewing the company fee for 3 years. When mission statement set right, you attract the best people around the world.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Let do a comparison, (we compare not to blame anyone, but to learn and improve)&lt;br /&gt;Microsoft mission&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Mission&lt;br /&gt;Accessibility makes it easier for anyone to see, hear, and use a computer, and to personalize their computer to meet their own needs and preferences. You got it, we all wants "universally accessible and useful", we don't need a leading provider.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;We choose to use Google than Bing mainly because Google is useful.&lt;br /&gt;And Google will grow so fast so fast as long as he don't think he is competing with some giant. because everyone is a giant in their field.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Is time to think like Google. think like Google you will win the favor of the customer, of the employee and yourself. Stop compete, start create. I worked with a so-called Award-winning company for a short period, and I found out during my assignment, this company have lots of problem.&lt;br /&gt;The CEO is too ambitious and aggressive. It is good. but at the sametimes, he try to cut the company's operation cost by using less programmer to complete a state-level Enterprise application.&lt;br /&gt;He sacrifices the quality of the application, ignoring the legimate complaints of the staffs in all his branch.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;the result was - the Enterprise application develop for a state-level authority agency does not worked well. We failed to deliver the product on time, and there is no quality control. All the CEO concern is just - ask the customer (the authority agency) to pay by signing the UAT.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I quit but I have learnt a lesson. When you expanding too fast and yet cutting the vital part - Quality, you can't go far. The customer's complaints will stack high, you will need to take more times and effort to rectify it. I hope that CEO learnt a lesson from Toyota case too.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;In fact, it is not only Toyota will have this problem. Any company that have the spirit of competition will fail eventually. These company fail to remember their mission - it is not to earn profit (the profit will come), it is about providing best quality product/service to the customer. Toyota brand rise not because the brand, but because of good quality. You don't really have to compete the price.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The consumer also play important role. We are driven by price alone.&lt;br /&gt;When comes to purchase a service/product, we primary look at the price.&lt;br /&gt;When purchasing a car, we compare price, some website even give you tools to compare - price.&lt;br /&gt;Price, Price, Price....&lt;br /&gt;That cause the producer to cut cost more and more....&lt;br /&gt;the result is - less quality material, less measurement, less and less...&lt;br /&gt;You give less, the producer give you less, in certain way.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Toyota is clever. When customer want to buy cheaper car, he produce smaller car. That's ok, smaller in size, but the autoparts he also want to cut the quality, find a cheaper source, product slightly less quality, that's okay?&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Take my previous company case, that company's customer want to have more feature on the product (the Web-based application) but want to pay the same amount of money, so the CEO have to force the employee (2 of us) to work harder..both of us programmers are no longer work because we love to work, we are force to work to meet those unreasonable deadline and scope of work. And worse still, the CEO blame on the staff for couldn't meet up the deadline. And that's really demotivate us, I decide to quit and guess what? the CEO pass all those work to the remaining staff - 1 programmer, 1 Enterprise application. I wonder how she can handle it? This is tips of the iceberg, more problem will emerge as the result of cutting human capital, no training provided to help staff solving problem creatively....not appreciating the staff's effort (Well, though he does provide us a good Chinese New Year dinner, to me I just felt like is an obligation rather than appreciation....I am human, I can feel the real appreciation and the fake one)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;When crisis in business happened, don't just blame. Toyota, my previous company is an example.&lt;br /&gt;Don't blame, we find out the root cause and solve it.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I think blame is point to a particular person and say "that's your fault (It's not my fault)"&lt;br /&gt;So my suggestion is to look at a higher level, identify how the problem was originated from...&lt;br /&gt;And stop pointing who's fault and express all the negative feeling and words...&lt;br /&gt;instead, provide list down all the party that responsible&lt;br /&gt;1. Mr. XYZ&lt;br /&gt;2. Ms. ABC&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;And tell them, we all make mistake, including myself.&lt;br /&gt;and mistake is good and worth to celebrate, that's how human learnt.&lt;br /&gt;and just tell them "Thank you for the hardwork, we need to correct this mistake"&lt;br /&gt;"We will grow stronger with this mistake"&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;isn't that better than shouting at someone or showing face "Mr. XYZ You are stupid, why cause this mistake?" and the tone of voice is so loud that it demotivate the staff the produce an even worst result...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I wonder how the CEO of Toyota behave now under such a "recall" mistake?&lt;br /&gt;Most CEO will just shout at the employee, fire the responsible party and hiring a new responsiblity party, that's seems a quick fix.....to be I believe this is not a right way, it demotivate all other staff.&lt;br /&gt;it shows that the company do not value the mistake, the people.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;CEO also can make mistake, why shouldn't we blame others? we can't see that we are also part of the responsiblity party. How we know CEO is part of the mistake. Let's do a reverse phychology, what if the project is delivered successful, who take the credit? CEO and the staff or the CEO holding an awards and smile....&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;So, if you, CEO wants to take the credit, then please remember - when mistake comes, we all take responsiblity.
